The Bicycle^® Purple Poker Pack is designed by Randy Coffey, a graphic designer doing business as the sole proprietor of Purple Card Games, located in Southern California.  The design started with the concept of using Color as a game element.  Dozens of designs and versions were created considering factors of function and aesthetics.  The different designs were play tested with various rules extensively to reach a final version that has the best playability among all of the popular classic card games.
